How do I rent a storage unit?
Renting a storage unit is simple!
You can visit us in person at 6321 – 76 Ave NW, Edmonton, Alberta, or contact us via phone (780-619-8021) or email (warehousestorage@telus.net) to check availability and reserve a unit.
Is there a minimum rental period?
Yes, our minimum rental period is typically one month. However, we offer flexible month-to-month leases, so you can store your items for as long as you need without being locked into a long-term contract.
How secure is your storage facility?
Security is a top priority at Warehouse Self Storage. Our facility is equipped with:
- 24-hour surveillance cameras
- Electronic gate access
- Well-lit premises
- Individual unit locks (provided by you or available for purchase)
We take every measure to ensure your belongings are safe and secure.
Can I access my unit whenever I want?
You can call ahead to access your storage unit during our regular access hours. If you need after-hours access, please contact us to discuss options.
What can’t I store in my unit?
For safety reasons, certain items are prohibited from being stored in our facility, including:
- Flammable, explosive, or hazardous materials
- Perishable food items
- Live animals or plants
- Illegal substances or items

Do you offer climate-controlled units?
Yes, we offer climate-controlled storage units that maintain a consistent temperature and humidity level. These are ideal for storing sensitive items such as electronics, artwork, or antiques.
How do I make a payment?
We offer several convenient payment options. You can pay:

Can I change the size of my unit if my needs change?
Absolutely! If you find you need more or less space, simply contact our office, and we’ll do our best to transfer you to a more suitable unit based on availability.
Do I need insurance for my stored items?
While insurance is not mandatory, we highly recommend that you insure your belongings for added peace of mind. Some homeowner or renter insurance policies may cover items in storage. If not, we can provide information on storage insurance options.
How do I move out of my storage unit?
Moving out is easy. Simply provide us with notice at least 10 days before your intended move-out date. Ensure the unit is emptied and clean, and return any keys or access materials to our office.
What if I forget my access code or lose my key?
If you forget your access code, contact us at 780-619-8021, and we’ll help you recover it. If you lose your key, we may need to cut the lock for you (fees may apply), so please reach out to us for assistance.
